World Day of Prayer for Vocations

This Sunday is Mother’s Day- card and flower companies have made sure we are aware of it!  But, did you know it is also  World Day of Prayer for Vocations?

What a perfect day to thank all of those women (and men) who chose not to have their own families so that they could be present to ALL families through the gift of their vocation to religious life. Offer up a prayer for the Sisters (Brothers and Priests) who have blessed your life, and for the men and women discerning now who will bless the lives of many others. Oh, and thank your Mother for the gift of her Vocation!
