50th Anniversary of St. Norbert’s School, Lima,Peru

The Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart extend congratulations to our friends in Lima, Peru on the 50th anniversary of the Foundation of St. Norbert School by the Norbertine Fathers and the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart. There was a Mass Friday evening to begin the celebration. On Saturday there was a luncheon for all graduates- What a joyful scene that was!
Liliana, who informed the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart about the celebration said, “we will have you (the GNSH) present in our hearts for the lessons taught, the kindness, the generosity, the devotion and the love offered by you Norbertines and Grey Nuns – Great example and formation which you imprinted on our lives.”
It’s so nice to hear from and be remembered by these adults whom we knew and loved as teenagers! Many blessings on this Jubilee Celebration!
Srs. Mary Karen Kelly, Patricia Kelly, Eileen White, and Maureen Quigley served in Peru during our time of ministry there.
