As you enter The Sacred Heart Chapel, you instantly know that the Sacred Heart of Jesus is the center of our lives. The beautiful mosaic highlighting the crucifix can’t help but capture one’s attention. The crucifix is modeled on the one we wear as Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart. The corpus of Jesus and His Sacred Heart are central to the crucifix. At each point of the cross, a fleur de lis is a reminder of Christ’s Kingship and harkens back to our founding in French Montreal.
