Most Holy Father,

Laudato Si!

Greetings to you from the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart and their Associates. We received your Encyclical with great joy and are energized by your call to protect our common home, Sister Earth. This call to action invigorates our efforts in Ecology-Spirituality, Social Justice and Cosmic Awareness.

Our mission states “In the spirit of St. Marguerite d’Youville, our foundress, the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart strive to be signs of God’s unconditional love as we collaborate to create a more just and compassionate world.” Ecological issues take high priority in our ministry.

We thank you for “Laudato Si” and the extraordinary credibility it lends to our efforts. We extend our support to your efforts in working against environmental degradation while illuminating the splendor of God’s creation and cultivating interior peace.

We pray for God’s blessings to you, our Church, the world’s poorest inhabitants and our Sister Earth.
