A New Home for Prayer and Conversation

Written on: September 29, 2015

The Thursday night Centering Prayer Group has a new spot to gather.  Holy Redeemer/D’Youville Manor has opened up a rarely used spot on the lower level for  use by those seeking a quiet, contemplative space.

First to use the room was the Thursday night Centering Prayer group. Pictured here are Angel Conicelli, Sr. Mary McMahon, Carmen DeMarinis, Mary Ann Schneider, Sr. Anne Boyer and Sr. Frances Whitman.

In addition, the Sunday “Conversations on the Porch”  will gather in this same spot beginning on Sunday September 27 at 11:30 am. The discussion topic will be the Occasional Papers (Summer, 2015).

The space is available for private reflection, as long as it is not signed out for another purpose.
