The Philadelphia Area Coalition for Responsible Investment (PACRI) is the sponsoring organization for this event. PACRI was founded in 1979 to aid religious investors in monitoring and influencing the social responsibility of corporations in which they held stock. The coalition strategies include assisting members to submit shareholder resolutions to companies involved in practices that are not socially responsible, engaging in dialogue with those companies, and learning about opportunities for investments that promote community economic development.
