Thanks to your support, there’s now enough wind power installed to generate enough electricity for 24 million American homes.
But this clean, low-cost source of electricity could be reaching more homes.
Just like highways and bridges, the steel poles and wires that deliver electricity are infrastructure that keeps the U.S. economy moving – and growing.
By investing in new transmission lines we can deliver more homegrown wind energy to keep the lights on and costs low for American homeowners and businesses. Our lawmakers in Washington D.C. need to know that transmission is essential infrastructure for our country.

This is an aspect of climate change that you can easily address. Acting on It is obviously connected to our corporate stand to support the Earth Charter. It is also connected to our first corporate stand in opposition to nuclear weapons which became broader over the years to include not only stock piling nuclear weapons, but also using nuclear power as an energy source.
