Sister Anne Marie Striegl- 60th Jubilee

Written on: April 7, 2017

Annie StrieglSister Anne Marie Striegl (Sister John Bosco) graduated from D’Youville College before entering the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart. With her degree in social work, she became a source of advocacy and counseling for the poor and homeless population served by Catholic Charities in Buffalo, New York, where she ministered for more than thirty years. In her earlier years, as a teacher in elementary school, she added drama and Children’s Theater to the after school curriculum. She lives with other Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart at Holy Redeemer Lafayette.

During these 60 years, my life has been blessed by God’s everlasting and abiding love, friendship and protection for which I am deeply grateful.
