A native of Buffalo, New York, Sister Nancy Maria Kaczmarek is presently on the faculty and staff of D’Youville College where she serves as Professor of Education and Archivist for the College. She has served at D’Youville in some capacity for almost 35 years. Prior to her years in higher education, Sister Nancy taught in elementary and secondary schools, primarily Melrose Academy and St. Leonard’s Academy, both in the Philadelphia area. She cherishes many memories from her classroom days:
I joined the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart because I wanted to be happy. I was right. The Grey Nuns are my home, where I am encouraged in my faith and strengthened for ministry and mission. Thank you to all of you, both my sisters in community and those of you I have known because of ministry, for all of the ways you have enriched my life. You know who you are but can’t even imagine what a blessing you have been to me. I look forward to this celebration of 50 years to share memories and celebrate with the other Jubilarians, all the Grey Nuns, and those who have supported us through the years.
Sister Nancy,
Where is Dr Nancy Drigan stationed?
Thanks,

Hey Sister Nancy, it’s Lippi (from your days at Melrose). You don’t look a day older than you were then! What’s your secret?! Congrats and best wishes!
Congratulations Sister Nancy. I remember your classes being a lot of fun! We kept you on your toes!
I am almost sure I remember your spending time at Christ the King in Atlanta, but it’s never mentioned. Congratulations on a career well spent, and a life well lived, in loving service, and may you enjoy many more years of happiness and good health.
Congratulations! Look forward to seeing you again.
Congratulations, Nancy! You look great!
