Sister Barbara Schiavoni appeared in an article for Western New York Catholic about her role with Daybreak TV Productions. Sister Barbara ministers in the Department of Lifelong Faith Formation for the Diocese of Buffalo.

Paula DeAngelis-Stein, producer and director at Daybreak TV Productions, also at the Diocese of Buffalo, relies on Sister Barbara to be her “spiritual eyes” when writing for social media in particular. Each woman has expertise in her own field, Paula in Communications and Sister Barbara in Theology, but not necessarily in each other’s field.  As Paula mentions in the article, “We wouldn’t want to put something up that says ‘Daybreak’, and have it be wrong!”  Usually, it is all in the phrasing and interpretation of the content, and that is where Sister Barbara’s expertise is a big help.

This is a wonderful example of how collaboration between specialties can enhance a ministry on both sides of the table.
