Promote Our Values On the Supreme Court

Sign NETWORK’s Catholic Faith Leader Letter to Senators

In the coming weeks, your Senators will be voting on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. At NETWORK, we’ve been engaged in deep conversation about what a new Supreme Court Justice could mean for the future of our nation and respect for the Constitution.

We believe that Senators need ask serious questions about Judge Kavanaugh’s record — specifically about healthcare and the Affordable Care Act, immigration, labor rights, voting rights and democracy, and the death penalty.

On behalf of Sister Simone Campbell and all of us at NETWORK Lobby for Catholic Social Justice, I invite you to sign this Catholic Faith Leader Sign-On Letter to Senators about their consideration of Judge Kavanaugh

Catholic faith leaders — Sisters, Priests, Brothers, and heads of organizations, like you! — have a special role to play in this moment. You share a faith background with Judge Kavanaugh, and the moral voice of Catholic faith leaders means that U.S. Senators will pay attention. We also know that on crucial issues, Catholic teaching and the Constitution intersect to protect human dignity. For the good of our nation, we must weigh in.

Please sign this letter no later than Tuesday August 14 — and forward to other Catholic leaders to do the same. We will then deliver the letter to Senators as they plan to meet with Judge Kavanaugh and consider his nomination

Thank you,
Ashley Wilson
