Ignite the Light- from IIC

The Interfaith Immigration Coalition (IIC) has prepared a series of prayers for use throughout the season of Advent through Epiphany. They’ve entitled this six part series “Ignite the Light.” The prayers link the scripture readings to various asylum concerns and include stories, reflections, and suggested action. We hope you will find it a meaningful way to help experience, in some way, how Jesus continues to be rejected today.

• No room in the inn,
• no room in our shelters,
• no room in our nation’s heart!

This is not what we are about.

May our desire to bring about a more compassionate world move us to action.
