“Your steadfast love endures forever.” Ps. 118
During this time of separation, the words of Psalm 118 bring to mind countless generations, who, throughout human history, have turned to God in times of uncertainty and challenge.
Spring has arrived in Philadelphia! A walk through the neighborhood reveals the emergence of new life. Birds are singing, daffodils are in bloom, and the magnolia trees are spectacular. Spring follows winter each year, but when the January winds howl, it’s hard to believe it will ever warm up.
Our lives are disrupted now, but we will return to normal. Just as God’s loving providence guides the seasons, Divine Providence will lead us through this time to safety, peace and sunshine.
As a congregation we’re finding new ways to stay connected. Sisters are reaching out to each other through phone calls, emails and notes. This is much appreciated, especially by the Holy Redeemer Lafayette Sisters.
Know that Leadership holds each of you and your families in prayer. Let us unite our prayers for all throughout the world who are impacted by Coronavirus, and for medical professionals, first responders and those seeking a cure.
