for those scheduled for execution,
for the victims of these crimes and
all whose lives have been
impacted by violence.

We are grateful that Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt commuted the death sentence of Julius Jones on Nov. 18, just prior to the scheduled execution.

We look forward to the day when this notification will be unnecessary. Let us continue to pray and advocate for an end to the death penalty.
