Compassion: Listening to the Cries of the World by Christina Feldman. Rodmell Press, 2003. (Available new on Amazon ($18.95) and hardly used or even new at ThriftBooks.Com for $6.95)

We ‘co-creators of a compassionate world’ will find treasure in Christina Feldman’s writing. Hers is the book that inspired Joyce Rupp to write the very popular Boundless Compassion.

Feldman’s seven chapters address: compassion for the world, for suffering, the blameless, causers of suffering, ourselves, those we love and in adversity.

Feldman’s Buddhism provides an enriching perspective. Her style is understandable and full of practical applications for life. Reading, her book, one deepens in appreciation of the power of a compassionate heart.
