Book Review- CHARGED WITH GRANDEUR

This is a small paperback by Jim Manney, that I bought this summer at Jesuit Retreat Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

The title of this book comes from a Gerard Manly Hopkins, SJ quote,

“the world is charged with the grandeur of God.”

True to his rootedness in Ignatian Spirituality, Hopkins reminds us that God can be found everywhere!

The book consists of single-page reflections from a variety of sources.

Contributors range from: St. Ignatius, Pedro Arrupe, Peter Canisius, John English, Gerard Manley Hopkins, James Martin, Margaret Silf, Teilhard de Chardin, John Veltri and many more.

It is a little treasure, that I highly recommend.
