GNSH to Host Movie Screening of The Letter

The Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart invite you to the showing of the film, The Letter. It tells the story of various front-line environmental leaders and their journey to Rome at the invitation of Pope Francis, to dialogue with him about their work and Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’. Together they explore issues including Indigenous rights, climate migration, and youth leadership in the context of action on climate and nature.

It will be an eye opener for many about what’s being done around the world to address the environmental crises we are experiencing. The highlight of the film is the respectful dialogue that the invitees have with Pope Francis. All came away deeply appreciative of each other and their care for Earth. I believe we will also. Many who have seen the film say it’s a “must see”.

It will be shown at 6 p.m. on June 27 in the RCR at Lafayette Redeemer (83 min.)
