Laudato Si’ Action Platform Update

A little reminder that during her presentation, Suzette Munley shared a link for us, that was included in your LSAP “homework” mailing. This link takes you to a list of action Items from Beyond Plastics,  on various ways to advocate for the elimination of plastics. We hope you have had a chance to take some of these steps. If you haven’t taken these simple steps, it’s a long summer ahead!

Our current reading and praying with Laudato Si’ is Chapter 6, Sections IV, V and VI.

ABC World News Tonight had an exposé on the grim reality of the failure of recycled plastics. They placed trackers on plastics that were recycled at Target and Walmart, and found the vast majority of them were sent to landfills, instead. You can read about it here.
