Our Commitment Day: LCWR’s 100 Days of Prayer, Fasting, and Advocacy

Written on: July 28, 2025

As part of our response as women religious to the challenges we are facing as Americans, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious invited every religious community of Sisters to participate in 100 Days of Prayer, Fasting, and Advocacy.

Our Leadership Team selected July 29th as our special day of commitment, and we invite you to participate as well as you can on that day to prayer, fasting, and advocacy. July 29th — the 62nd day of the 100 days of prayer, fasting, and advocacy – is the feast of Saints Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, a family who, according to John and Luke’s gospels, welcomed Jesus into their home.

Sisters Eileen White and Diane Bardol have created a reflective resource for your use that day, which will give you guidance on ways you can readily participate through prayer, fasting, and advocacy.
