When someone asks you what you do or who you are, do you automatically tell them your name, your lifestyle or your career?
Perhaps you are called to respond something More.
More authentic.
More true.
More dynamic.
St. Marguerite d’Youville was a young widow and mother when she embraced the poor and needy of Montreal, Canada. Her life of compassion and service continues to attract people to carry on her legacy of prayer and ministry.
Today, we invite women and men to join us in our mission:
To be visible signs of God’s unconditional love for every person.”
We invite YOU to respond to the gospel call to minister to the poor, the ill and the marginalized of society through prayer and works of compassion, in the spirit of St. Marguerite and within the context of your everyday life.
So, the next time someone asks, you can respond, “I’m an Associate of the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart!”
Women and men of all backgrounds and ages, who bring spirituality, service and compassion into their everyday lives. Participation is not limited by religion, education, personal ministry, age, lifestyle or location. We invite you to read about St. Marguerite and GNSH Spirituality by clicking here.
Like the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart, Associates keep alive the spiritual gifts of St. Marguerite through personal prayer, presence, advocacy and ministry.
