Sisters of Charity of Ottawa (SCO)
Four Grey Nuns of Montreal, led by Mother Elizabeth Bruyere, founded this community in 1845. They extended service to the poor of Bytown (Ottawa), Ontario, Canada. Today the SCO’s serve in Canada, USA, Brazil, Japan, Central Africa, South Africa, and Haiti.

Sisters of Charity of Quebec (SCQ)
Four Grey Nuns of Montreal, led by Mother Marcelle Mallet in 1849 were sent to serve the people of Quebec City, Quebec. Today the SCQ’s serve in Canada, USA, Japan, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (GSIC)
Founded in 1926 by 77 Grey Nuns of Ottawa. The Grey Sisters serve in Canada and the Dominican Republic.
